My Pantry

Everyone has certain items that, no matter what, they always seem to have on hand.  Here's a list of what I normally have in my pantry.
  • flour, basic all-purpose
  • yeast
  • corn starch
  • baking soda
  • baking powder
  • oil, both vegetable and olive
  • vinegars - all types: white, cider, balsamic, red wine... you name it, I have it.
  • salt
  • seasonings & herbs such as garlic, basil, rosemary, cinnamon, etc.
  • sugar - powdered, brown & granulated
  • minced garlic
  • onions
  • potatoes
  • carrots
  • coconut
  • chocolate chips
  • cocoa powder
  • pasta, various types such as spaghetti noodles, elbow macaroni, penne
  • rice, long grain - no instant here! (trust me, it's cheaper)
  • dried beans, mostly northern beans, red beans and lentils
  • canned vegetables
  • canned tuna
  • applesauce
  • canned pineapple
  • crackers
  • butter
  • frozen vegetables
  • hot dogs
  • coffee & tea
  • powdered milk
  • mashed potato flakes
  • jello mix
  • pudding mix
  • oats
